The Walmer Castle is blessed with two striking and stylish spaces for private hire, between them ready to accommodate everything from an intimate anniversary dinner to a slick business launch to a fairytale wedding.
On the first floor, flooded with natural light via four huge original sash windows and with a quintessentially Notting Hill view the length of smart Lonsdale Road, is the Lonsdale Room, a versatile space that accommodates up to 100 people for canapes and drinks, or 50 to 60 for seated dining. Somewhat more luxurious in finish than the ground-floor bar, this substantial room with adjacent snug has its own bar, large, hidden HD TV and Sonos sound system. Available at Christmas for parties and on special request.
The second-floor Westbourne Room has a large dining table that seats 20 and décor that raises the cosiness another gear with warmly patterned Robert Kime wallpaper and tactile fabric textures. The space is also provided with a hidden HD TV and Sonos sound system.
